Christmas Program Note from Mrs. Brooks
For the Christmas program, I am putting together a slideshow for one of the songs to display family Christmas traditions or family celebrations.  I am asking that each family provide pictures that will communicate how they celebrate Christmas with one another.  Pictures need to be labeled so I can return them.  The deadline for pictures is Tues., Nov. 18th.

Used Cell Phones for Soldiers
If you have a cell phone that you no longer use and would like to put it to good use, drop it off in the school office.  Cell Phones for Soldiers is a program that recycles phones and accessories and then uses the money to send calling cards to troops overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan so that the solders can stay in touch with their families.
Deadline for sending in phones - Nov. 14th.  Thank you for supporting our troops.

Closings & Delays
Bad weather will be here before you know it.  So remember to watch WTAP or listen to the local radio stations for closings and delays.  North Christian School will always be announced separately from Wood County Schools.

Science Fair Judges Needed
Mrs. McBride is looking for a few good men and women to judge the science fair.  Please call the school office to volunteer at 485-0241. We would need you on Wed., Nov. 19 from 8:30 a.m. - noon. Thank you!

PSO Meeting
Please plan to attend a Parent Service Organization Meeting on Mon., 11/17 at 2 p.m. in Boggess Hall to discuss upcoming events.  If you cannot make it at that time, there will be an identical meeting that evening at 7 p.m. in Mrs. McBride's classroom.  Questions?  Call Mrs.Fleming at 485-0241.
