A test will be given on Friday on all spelling, outlaw, and challenge words and dictation.

Bible
Lesson 3 will focus on the First Family.

Math
We will be doing speed drills everyday in class. The papers will come home after every fourth drill. We will work on subtracting by one, counting pennies, and greater than. We will have a test Tuesday.

Reading and Phonics
We will be working on long vowels. We will have a test on Tuesday.

Language
This week we are reading  sentences.

Science/Social Studies
Our class will be taking a closer look at butterflies.

Reminders
• Reading homework every night and special homework on  Thursday
• Scholastic book orders due Sept. 15
• No School September 6th
• See supplies needed
