Faculty & Staff

The faculty and staff of North Christian Elementary School (NCES) are committed to both the spiritual and academic growth of each student entrusted to us. We consider ourselves to be  not only teachers in a school, but also lay ministers within the NCES ministry. Our goal is to help each child develop strong, Christ-like character and achieve academic excellence in a safe, Christian environment.

Teacher Requirements:

• Hold a four-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; 
• Hold a valid State Teacher Certification from the West Virginia or Ohio Department of Education; 
• Reflect a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an active member in a local church;
• Submit to a Wood County Sheriff's Department background check;
• Participate in required staff development trainings.
