Kindergarten Enrollment

Dear Parent:
In order to successfully complete the enrollment process for your child, the following items are required. All required forms are enclosed. This entire process must be completed in order for your child to be considered for enrollment. Your prompt response to these items will help process your application in a more efficient manner.

Step #1: Complete Application Returned to NCS Office

A. Complete Application for Enrollment

B. Pastor's Reference (This must be presented to your pastor and returned complete to NCS.)

C. Tuberculin Skin Test Results (if moving in from out of state for Kindergarten Students)

D. Copy of Certified Official Birth Certificate (Please present a copy, as originals will not be returned.)

E. Copy of Up-to-Date Immunization Record

F. Statement of Cooperation Form (Signed)

G. Any other Health, Medical or Psychological Reports

H. Registration Fee (non-refundable unless your child is not accepted into NCS)

Step #2: School Interview

Once your child’s Application is Complete (completion of Step #1), you then will be scheduled with an NCS School Official for your Interview. After your school interview you will receive confirmation regarding being “Provisionally Accepted.” This basically means that your child has been accepted into the class pending the successful completion of their screening by the classroom teacher.

Step #3: Screening

To determine the preparedness of your son/daughter for the following year, your child will be scheduled for a screening after the first of the year.

Step #4: Letter of Enrollment

Upon completion of steps #1-3, you will next be notified regarding your child’s enrollment status. At this time students can be “Officially Accepted” for the upcoming school year.

North Christian School was established by Christian parents, for Christian parents. Our goal is to not only partner with Christian parents, but to help children succeed both academically and spiritually. The enrollment process helps NCS ensure we are partnering with the families we are designed to partner with, in addition to assessing your child’s aptitude to succeed academically.
